There are now three ways to give in support of what God is doing through FCBCLA.
In Person
Place your check or cash in the offering plate during any Sunday service.
Online Giving
Click on the button above or on the FCBCLA mobile app to give. If you’re giving for the first time, you will be asked to set up an account so you can keep track of your giving as well as receive your year-end contribution statement.
Text To Give
Text the amount of your donation to 1(213) 634-4250. If you’re giving for the first time, you will receive a text with a link to easily and securely register your payment information. Here’s an example: if you wish to give $5, text “give 5”.
“The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. Each person should do as he has decided in his heart–not reluctantly or our of compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.” 2 Cor 9:6-8
According to Scripture, heart-directed giving that pleases God follows four (4) basic and timeless principles.
1) Give Generously (v.6) – We are to give generously. As we sow, we will reap, if we give generously, we will reap generously. We can never outgive God.
2) Give Intentionally (v.7) – We are to give intentionally, not impulsively. Each Christian is to determine for themselves what and how God is leading them to give and then intentionally set aside that amount to give to the work of God’s kingdom.
3) Give Cheerfully (v.7) – We are to give with a cheerful heart, not reluctantly. Giving should never be done under compulsion or pressure. Giving should always be done freely, as an expression of our thankfulness, trust, and worship of God, and
4) Give In Faith (v.8) – We are to give as an expression of our faith in God. We can trust that if we give generously, intentionally, and cheerfully, God will honor our giving and provide for our needs. He will give us everything we need to excel in every good work!
Can I schedule recurring contributions?
Yes. You can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
Will I be charged any hidden charges or fees to give online?
No. The amount you select is the dollar amount withdrawn from your account for your gift. Your year-end giving statement will reflect this total amount.
On the other hand, FCBCLA will pay a customary transaction fee from our processor according to the payment method below:

Will I still receive a contribution statement?
Yes. If you create an account, FCBCLA will mail your year-end giving statement directly to your home address in January or make it available online for your tax purposes.
What if I change payment methods or want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?
You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at any time, including payment method, date, frequency and amount.
You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled.
Is online giving secure?
The giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for “Secure Socket Layer”, a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions. Your information is held securely in our system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
