 Saturday: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Thursday nights will be cancelled during the Summer (July - mid September). Please check the MPB calendar for scheduling changes. How did we come up with the name "BAD" nights? Well, "BAD" is short for badminton, but mainly, it's from a poster that said, "BAD" is thriving because of the loving support of our sisters and brothers. Together we set up the courts, clean up the MPB after the games, and then set up dividers and chairs for Sunday Services. Our sisters and brothers also generously donate money to buy shuttles, and some even secretly donated additional court equipments so that more people could join in the fun. In less than a year, we're very happy to report that our weeknight attendance has grown from 8 persons to over 20, and on Saturdays, from 12 to about 30--sometimes more by God's grace. What I enjoyed seeing the most is the closeness that has developed amongst sisters and brothers through "BAD" nights. Not only are we able to get in shape together, we're also able to know and care for each other more (as God has intended). Also, "BAD" is a good place to interact with different groups in our church and even visitors from other churches. Many sisters and brothers have been using "BAD" to invite their friends outside of church to join in the fun and fellowship. Praise the Lord! Linnie Tchang "BAD" Coordinator |
