The Master’s Choir is part of the musical ministry at First Chinese Baptist Church, Los Angeles. We support the church by singing during special events such as Resurrection Day (Easter), Christmas, and other church wide celebration programs. Occasionally we will represent FCBC, LA at performances outside of the church, performing 2 to 4 times a year.

Our choir is open to all members of the church, whether they are from the English, Cantonese, or Mandarin congregations. This allows us the flexibility of having choir members from different cultural backgrounds and stages of life, giving us a wide range of members from Collegians to Senior Adults. Depending on the event, our choir members can grow in size from 60 to 100.

Our Mission:

1. Rehearse and perform at a high-reaching level of choral music so that we may:
  • Offer praise and exaltation to Jesus Christ, our master
  • Help choir members grow in their musical skill, knowledge, and desire for excellence
  • Elevate the musical discernment of our church

2. Lead the church musically through unified and choral singing.
3. Provide comprehensive planning for special musical events.
