Biblical Character Study: The Life of Joseph (Ruby Kwan & Carl Sujo) – 7 weeks A classic childhood favorite, the story of Joseph caps-off the book of Genesis describing the beginnings of the Israelite nation. How does God shape this man for His purposes and His glory, both on a personal level and a global level? Can God do the same for us? Join us for a personal time of discovery in the Word as we study this concluding saga of the book of Genesis. |
New Testament Survey (Kevin Chan) – 7 weeks Get the Big Picture of the New Testament! Topics include Inter-Testament events, the Harmony of the Gospel, the Growth of the Church, the Letters to churches and leaders, and the Revelation to John. This class provides a useful overview for ministries in church, in your fellowship group and in your personal Bible studies. This class can be taken for TTP credit (only one absence allowed). |
Interpreting the Bible (Chris Tomokiyo & John Chow) – 7 weeks In this class we will look at the different types of Biblical writing and the basic rules and methodology of interpretation for each type. If time permits, we may also look at different Bible study methods that you can use when doing personal Bible study. This class can be taken for TTP credit (only one absence allowed). |
Messy Christianity (Tommy Kwan & Friends) – 14 weeks Do you ever feel like...I don’t pray enough? I don’t share my faith enough? I don’t read my Bible enough? I’m not spiritual enough? If you feel like this then there’s a place for you, my "messy" brothers & sisters. Come join me in a small group during the Sunday School hour as we go through "Messy Spirituality". Limited class size. |
Fundamentals of Christianity (Dennis Iida & David Shigekawa) – 1 to 7 weeks Becoming a Christian is the greatest event in a person’s life, but it usually takes one step at a time to get to that point. The goal of this class is to help each person move one step closer to Jesus no matter where they are at in their journey to find Jesus. Most of the class time will be used to see where our invited friends are at spiritually in a comfortable setting and to answer any of their questions. We want them to have a good experience visiting our church while helping them hear how much God loves and accepts them by grace. You and your friends can come as many times as you’d like; no commitments necessary. |
